In a thrilling match at the Berlin Olympiastadion, Austria emerged victorious over Poland with a 3-1 scoreline. The game was a tale of two halves, with Poland dominating the first 45 minutes and Austria seizing control in the second. This win gives Austria a strong start in their pursuit of the knockout stage in Euro 2024.

Poland's Early Dominance

Poland started the game with an aggressive approach and created several scoring opportunities from the kick-off. Austria Rises to the Occasion

Ten minutes later, Xaver Schlager doubled the advantage with a cool finish after a great run from Konrad Laimer.

Poland fought back and managed to pull one back through Arkadiusz Milik in the 75th minute. However, Austria held on to their lead and sealed the victory with a late goal from Michael Gregoritsch. This result puts Austria in a strong position in Group B, while Poland faces an uphill battle to qualify for the knockout stage.
